About Simon Beer
I’ve been around cameras for as long as I can remember. My grandfather founded the local cine society, and I was hooked early on by his 8mm and Super 8 cameras. At 16, I landed my first job working hands-on with cameras at OpTex, and by 29 I had co-founded an equipment retailer. Since then, I’ve stayed at the cutting edge of imaging technology – from drones and VR to live streaming – combining technical expertise with a strong creative eye.
